You sure can. I don't drink alcohol, so I am not really the best person to give advice on how much or what kind of alcohol to add. But if you want to turn this into a boozy milkshake, I would suggest adding rum to give it a slight pina colada vibe. If you do this, let me know how it turns out!
What are some ways I can modify this recipe?
- Well as I mentioned above, if you want, you can make it boozy.
- You can use fresh, frozen, or canned mangos and pineapple or any combination of these.
- You can skip the ice cream and use dairy-free ice cream instead. Grab coconut ice cream instead of vanilla for a slightly more tropical treat.
- You can blend this milkshake less to leave the fruit a bit more chunky.
- You can skip using the juice in the can and use milk or a dairy-free milk-alternative instead or use coconut milk instead to make this taste even more tropical.
