Yes, pumpkin is healthy for you! Pumpkin is a vegetable, specifically a squash and is good for so many things including a pumpkin smoothie.
Pumpkin is nutrient-rich, vitamin-rich, mineral-rich but low in calories. Pumpkin has potassium, antioxidants, beta-carotene and fiber.
Seriously, I don’t know why we don’t eat more pumpkin!
Fresh pumpkin will obviously give you the best nutritional benefits, but sometimes grabbing a can of pumpkin puree is really convenient.
However, check the ingredients on your pumpkin puree can as sometimes sugars of syrups are added.
